Painting on silk is a unique art form that offers unlimited pathways to artistic expression. The rich luster of color draws you in and that allows you the freedom to use many different techniques such as; French permanent dyes using batik wax, gutta resist, salts, and shibori.

First, studying fashion design and later pursuing interests in watercolor, airbrush, Chinese brush painting, silk painting, lithography printmaking, and silk screen. 

Currently, my work involves collecting botanicals, creating one-of-a-kind eco-printed wearables, greeting cards and wall art. Working with the unrivaled beauty of nature and incorporating it into my silk allows me to work with nature and my passion all in one process.

Silk painting is like a dance between control and allowance and is a fascinating place to be!
